In Let’s Have Fun we learnt about the cell and the organelles (a part of the cell that does a specific job).
To acquire this content easily, we built a model cell of a plant or animal cell. All models had to be made out of edible materials like cake, nuts or sweets! Once built, the teacher told us that we had to imagine we were digestive enzymes (the ones that digest their own cell when it is damaged). Suddenly, an alarm sounded announcing that the cell was damaged and we, as real digestive enzymes, started to digest (eat) our cell! It was a very tasty and funny experience!
Do you want to see how delicious our edible cells look like? Here you have some examples!
